Looking for assistants in maintaining the class blog. Those who regularly blog are eligible for the job! Just let me know. More information at the end of this entry.
Chinese New Year is finally here and I wanna wish all Chinese a Happy Lunar New Year:D May the year of the Tiger be a roaring one full woth prosperity and happiness!
Like any other extended weekends, there are extended weekend homeworks to do.
EL
There is an EL Common Test on the 18th of February (Thu) so please be notified.
The homework to do is activity 2.8 of the Pink Book (Short Stories). For those of you who are lazy to flip open your book, the activity is based on Activity 2.5. Complete in your composition on about your chosen story of the tale of 2 girls who met in the reunion.
SCIENCE
To complete and hand in the 60 questions - Balancing Equation quiz. If not mistaken, do only up till question 10, but if not then, paiseh.
MATHS
Complete the extended homework found on the Notes.
GEOGRAPHY
There is an extended 2 pages of work to do in the WB, making the overall homework from page 31-35.
LITERATURE
Get your questions on Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 completed by the next Literature lesson.
ATTENTION
I'm seeking many assistants whom can be trusted to maintain the class blog till end of 2010. The reason why I am asking for help is that the blog needs to be more and more active in the coming days.
There will be additional columns in the coming weeks:
SONGS - by late-February
VIDEOS - by late-February
MOTHER TONGUE AFFAIRS - by early-March
TEACHER'S MANIFESTO - by mid-March
CLASS NEWS - by late-March
So I need 2 people in charge of each column when it's ready. Those who are interested please tell me. For TEACHER'S MANIFESTO, it is meant only for the teacher's use. So in the end, I need 8 people. Make it 9 as I need another helper to update the homeworks.

Please remember to complete pages 31-33 of the workbook.

Do your "group" discussion and solve Questions on Chapter 2 of the worksheet

Be reminded to hand in your WAR & PEACE worksheet, the one on Total Defence, by tomorrow. Please stay back after school tomorrow for an extra EL period. Time to go home may depend on your cooperation with Mr Phoa.

Please remember to let your parents sign your Edusave form for the Pages Of Knowledge and hand it in latest by the end of this week. Those who have not hand in the form for the Melacca trip. Please do so ASAP.

Most likely after Chinese New Year, there will be new schedules for improvement on the class blog. Please feel free to voice out your selection of songs and YouTube videos that you want to recommend. Send your song selections in the CHITCHATCLASS before Chinese New Year. I have no good taste in music.

OK, today was 3rd February and here's today's updates.
EL
For those who would have heard it, complete Activity 2.3 to 2.8 by tomorrow so that Mr Phoa would be able to complete things up for the EL Schedule scheme for the week.
ART
Please be reminded that you are to hand in your min. 2 development sketches.
HISTORY
This may be a last minute reminder - please ensure to have your parents' signature on the History test paper.
SCIENCE
Ouhs, almost forgot. Please bring some piece of metal for the practical work tomorrow during science for the electroplating experiment
OTHERS
Please remember to hand in your health booklets latest by tomorrow as the health check-up will be happening on Monday. Hence, please remember to bring along your PE attire so that you can change into them for the check-up on Monday.
Valentines' Day related. All those who have been approached by Melissa or Nicholas earlier during Literature period, please remember to pay up your $5 to them by tomorrow.
Chinese New Year related. We would like to ask a favour from you if you could help us buy more CNY decorations such as hang baos and others.
It would be great if anyone of you helped to buy the 2 plastic lanterns and/or pineapple lanterns. If you would like to buy anything else to be pasted on the outdoors, please feel free to do so. Though, hanging decorations would be greatly appreciated:D

OK, so no frequent updates. This isn't the news OK?
Reminder to all 2E2 students that there will be 2 tests tomorrow.
MATHS
Maths test will commence tomorrow during EM lesson. Please be punctual and revise on the topic of Inverse and Direct Proportions and also a little on Expansion on Algebraic Expressions if necessary. Please also remember to complete your questions 6,7 & 8.
GEOGRAPHY
There will be a Geography Test tomorrow after it was postponed from Monday to Wednesday. The topic tested will be on Population. But please also don't be surprised if there isn't any yet as Ms Jumilia already said that the test paper was not done.
PW
Working together in your PW groups throughout this whole week is essential. You may be advised to stay back after school with your group to do your Powerpoint presentations on your topic that you have chosen for example, water sports etc. Please save it into your thumbdrive and be ready to present it by next week during PW. Those found not doing it as a team would be questioned by Mr Ho.

Just a reminder that all the questions for Chapter 1 has been completed and ready for submission by tomorrow.
OTHERS
Those who are generous, please donate some hang baos? We really need a lot of them to decorate the class. Look at 2E1, so many - we must do better! At least show some class spirit ar.
