LITERATURE
Remember to complete the questions for Chapter 1 from the worksheet that was given out by Mrs Nair. To be done on coloured paper (white is not a coloured), all group members to have the same words on their papers. To be handed in next week.
EL
Just a reminder that the ENGLISH CLASS TEST will commence tomorrow during the EL period. There will be 3 questions given, choose only 1. It is a free-writing test.
SCIENCE
Another reminder to remain in the class after recess as Science lesson will be in classroom, not in the Science Lab. No need to bring along your stationary with you during recess.
HISTORY
Just reminding that HISTORY CLASS TEST will commence tomorrow during the HIS period. There are 2 source-based questions.
GEOGRAPHY
Next Monday, there will be a GEOGRAPHY CLASS TEST on the topic of Population. Please do your revision if necessary.
ART
For those who have not completed your 2 observational drawings, please do so by tomorrow.

Please be reminded to complete decorating your CME file by tomorrow as points will be given to you tested on your creativity.
CLASS RELATED ISSUES
Please pay up $0.50 for the Chinese New Year Decorations. There should be a total of $20 budget for the Class Heads to spend to decorate the class. Those interested to buy their own for the class, please do so, if possible, show your receipt.

Hey, so here's today's homework.

Just bring along your Reading Senses Book tomorrow. And I think there was something to do about an article, writing down its summary and then doing its expository writing? Not so sure. The girls were fighting again with Mr Phoa, kinda hard to listen.
MATHS
Just finish up your algebra worksheet and hand it in on Wednesday. Continuous winners who submit their work will get a prize from Mrs Yong!
GEOGRAPHY
Do pages 27-28. Hand it in on Wednesday together with your two Geographical news article in relation with population and write down your summary. For any queries, refer back to your worksheet.

Sorry for non-updates. Here's the weekend homework.
MATHS
Just remember to complete Exercise 3 questions listed on the Algebra Notes. Hand in by Monday.
EL
Remember to complete your Reading Senses Exercise 1 pages 5-7 exercises A,B&C.
SCIENCE
For those who didn't know that the theory workbook had homework, just ensure that pages 131-140 are done and bring it on Monday.
ART
Complete your Observational Drawing assignment and hand it in on the next Art lesson. The topic you can choose is nature or classroom. Do at least 2 drawings, more is recommended.
GEOGRAPHY
Just do pages 13-14. Just that simple. If got problems, just refer back to your notes. Also remember to find 2 articles related to Geography by the end of January.
OTHERS
This is a last-call reminder to all classmates. Remember to have your health booklets passed up as there will be a health check-up and a dental check up next week. If you don't have it, your life is at stake.
Remember to decorate your Character Development File and hand it in on Thursday.

So far here's the homework,
MATHS
OK, Maths is just to do the questions found at the last page of the worksheet. You can refer to page 52 of the Maths textbook for fast reference.
ENGLISH
Like what Mr Phoa said on the last minute, you must finish up your short story with the minimum of 300 words! Also, you must complete the Grammar Book Exercises 1-4 (page 1-10) And yet he called this short? At least the questions are easy. Anyways, those who never do it will get demerit points..
OTHERS
A reminder to all the D&T pupils, please ensure that you have done your research and pasted in your journal. Page 1 is your research on WHAT IS WATER CONSERVATION, Pages 2 &3 are your own thoughts on what water conservation is, you can also write down a few ways to save the water.
Those who are interested in buying the DressDown T-Shirt, please remember to bring $10 to order your shirt. Ignore this if you already did. Last Dayof Order is tomorrow.
Tomorrow, all students will be dismissed at 10.30 am. Student Leaders and the Chairmans, please remember to repor for the meeting outside the School Bookshop.
TOILET PASS CRISIS
Toilet Pass Crisis is finally over or is it? Yesterday on the 13th of Jan, Mr Phoa's pass has been reported missing. Mr Phoa has this to say, "You all are never going to the toilet for the rest of your life I tell you!" So, this case has been somewhat "solved" after an argument between the girls and Mr Phoa that lasted for about 20 minutes during EL today. I'm just happy the class is 'peaceful' again.

Hey everyone, the banner for the class blog is now the first thing to be posted up on the notice board. I'm sure by now, the whole class knows about the Class Blog. So I just wanna give your homeworks for today:
LITERATURE
OK, the literature homework quite easy lah, just do the blocking for Chapter 1 of Animal Farm. The Climax may not be found in the chapter, so don't worry.
And also in your groups, you should have done your research on the Russian Revolution of 1917 by now, if you haven't, then do it NOW. For those who are printing the research, please be advised to follow Mrs Nair's orders, which is to use the font ARIAL and keep your font size to 12 and it must be maximum 1 page research.
MATHS.
The only homework for Maths is just the exercises found at the bottom of the worksheet for those of you who haven't done it and just completing the sketches.
OTHERS
Like what was mentioned by the Class Heads just now during class, you may want to do a design of the Class T-shirt. The price of the shirt depends on how good the quality of your design is. Send in your design to Deborah by the 20th of January.

OK, this blog is still undergoing construction so there might be some errors here and then. The information I need is the names of the Chinese Language Teachers, please tell their names on the ChitChatClass and I'll post their names up! And also, send in your links to your blogs too! They'll be connected ASAP.
